Not Dead, Just... Resting

Yes, it's been well over a year since my last blog entry. And much has happened in the T-shirt world since then, to be sure. For example, in a risky, yet charitable move, SnorgTees released a video revealing just how you can create your own dinosaur T-shirt.

Jimi Dies Again

Still another great t-shirt design is no more. Maybe this one was too much like some of the other designs out there, but I think it had a style all its own that will definitely be missed. This one used to be at ThreadPit, but apparently they only have room for one Jimi Hendrix-related shirt at one time.

Why I Love PODs

One of the major challenges I continue to face in The Quest is that of attrition; too often, one or more candidates drop out of existence. I suppose that means that some of my choices aren't generally popular, but even so, I hate to see them go.

The Shirt Must Go On

In an earlier posting, I mentioned that T-Shirt Hell had launched TorsoPants as a "sister store". Well, apparently the sister couldn't make it on her own, and is back and again living in the attic of T-Shirt Hell. Maybe it was just too much to try and maintain two separate web sites, I don't know, but the bottom line is that TorsoPants is no more.

The Dude No Longer Abides

Since the last update, one of my favorites got discontinued. I'm guessing it might have had to do with being suspiciously familiar to the "Dude Vinci" design over at Dudeism.com. Too bad too, since the one in the Dudeism.com store doesn't have the all-to-critical "The Dude Abides" caption, so it's just not as cool somehow. Oh well.

Cooling Down For The Summer

Maybe I'm not keeping my eyes open or something, but there haven't seemed to be as many cool t-shirts coming out. Fortunately, I happened upon krisvahl's site recently, and found his birDog shirt. He's got a lot of other excellent designs too - check him out!
